It’s made using seven different varieties though Vermentino at 47% is by far the biggest contributor (friulano at 19% and Gros Manseng at 14% the next two in line). These grapes are sourced from the neighbouring King and Alpine valleys.
It’s just the ticket, really. Fruity, interesting, textural and persistent-enough. There’s a wide array of flavours on show, mostly thanks to stone and tropical fruit but with elements of fragrant herbs before a citrussy finish. It feels lively but the mouthfeel is good.
